Windmills Generate More Electricity Than You Would Imagine

August 10, 2007

A lot of people seem to think that wind generators produce very little electricity. This is absolutely not the case. Here where I live in Malaga they are building 40 wind turbines that will power 50,000 homes. Sure, in comparison to nuclear it is very expensive but still sustainable. There are a few companies in my area that have made large money simply building wind farms and selling the power back to the electricity companies. It’s sad to see that the electricity companies are only catching on now and building some of their own.
